Welcome to my new guesthouse. B&B Amaryllis is positioned in a
quiet location, known as hill 40 on trench maps, on the edge of the
small town of Zonnebeke. The accommodation has two spacious,
modern en-suite bedrooms on the first floor accessible by stairs.
Towels and bed linen are provided as well as a hair dryer. You'll
enjoy cable TV with several English channels in your room as well
as tea-coffee making facilities. Wifi is available free of charge.
There is ample, free car parking. Secure parking for motor bikes
and bicycles is available if required. The guesthouse is within
walking distance to the shops, bars and two reasonable priced
restaurants in Zonnebeke.
B&B Amaryllis is also situated within walking distance of the
Passchendaele Memorial Museum 1917 and Tyne Cot Cemetery,
the largest Commonwealth War Cemetery in the world. The larger
town of Ieper ( Ypres ) is less than a ten minute drive. There is also
a bus service from Zonnebeke if preferred. Other historical sites
are within easy reach, so please click on the 'links' section on my
website to find out more about them. Interesting places like
Bruges, Ghent, the Belgian coast and Lille are quite close too.
I welcome guests from around the world and speak fluent English.
I will gladly assist you in planning your visit to the many
museums, memorials and cemeteries in the area. Detailed maps
are at your disposal. There are 2 bicycles at your disposal.
